Nicole Hartvigsen, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician with over 10 years of experience serving patients and families. She cares for patients at Nevada Pediatric Specialists in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada.

Dr. Hartvigsen graduated with her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She then went on to complete her residency in pediatrics at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. After her residency, Dr. Hartvigsen worked as a pediatrician in Virginia before moving to Nevada. 

Today, Dr. Hartvigsen is an important member of the Nevada Pediatric Specialists team. She is a strong supporter of evidence-based and family-centered medicine and views establishing ongoing relationships with all of her patients and their families as integral to high-quality health care. 

Her professional accomplishments include working in a clinic that specializes in caring for newborns after leaving intensive care and being a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. 

In her free time, Dr. Hartvigsen enjoys spending time with her loving husband, three children, and the family dog. She often plays board games with her family and friends, runs, travels, and spends time outdoors.
